following on from my smoking query last week it looks my cvh needs to be stripped down to replace piston rings. The question is should i take the opportunity whilst its in bits to look at performance upgrades - can anyone point me in the direction of some resources about such mods

Why not replace the whole bottom end with a Zetec? That way you get a capacity hike plus your inlet and exhaust will not need to be changed (Google ZVH).

Hmmm interesting concept

I'm thinking about getting the head gas flowed, but with a stock exhaust manifold will i get much out of it (cant really afford a new manifold at the mo)

found your informative site since posting beer, but you know what the internet is like - lots of dodgy information, was hoping for some personal recommendations
