A/C compressor hose fittings
Discussion
Have an American Ford V8 with A/C.
The A/C pipes (and the fuel feed pipe) have a fitting I have not seen before.
The hose end fitting has 2 O rings and a fine coil spring inside a chrome housing.
The A/C pump has a tube with a flared end.
You simply push the hose fitting into the tube and the coil spring locks it in place.
How the hell do you get the bar steward apart again? is there a special tool?
Many thanks
Steve
