After being let down by a useless engineering company im having a go at making my own baffle for my Micron end can.

The inlet pipe is just over 2 and a half inch and the exhaust side nearer 1 and half inch. What size perforated tube should I use to make the inner part of the baffle? Im aware it will affect the amount of packing I can fit in and the sound of the can afterwards.

If you want a job doing do it yourself I guess is the motto. Will upload pics once I find my camera

Sorry forgot to mention it's for my Fireblade and i've also posted this thread in biker banter aswell

You'd need to explain exactly what you mean by baffle. Or provide drawings of what you want

Just make it like this with 11/2" perf



For a louder note put more plain tube at the inlet end. 1/2 plain and half perf should give a much better result than an empty can.

Can't you just drill the rivets out and open it up to see? Thats how you replace the baffles on Yoshimura cans; they actually sell replacement kits.
