Hello Everyone,

I am looking for some advice, I recently changed the clutch on my Hyundai Coupe V6 (2005)(Or Tiburon if your from the US) and now that it is all back together there seems to be no resistence on the clutch pedal. Being a hydraulic clutch I was sure to bleed it after the chance but this has not helped. When I changed the clutch I made sure that the clutch release fork went into the release bearing when refitting the gearbox.

It actually looks like the clutch release arm is not opening far enough to disengage the clutch and even with bleeding it doesnt seem to move any further, it movesa good bit jsut not enough. Any one got any ideas that could aid me to a resolution??

Did you make sure the clutch driven plate went in the right way round, only this is sometimes the symptom of just that error? If your sure you have not made this mistake have you tried bleeding the clutch system 1st? What was wrong with tje original clutch assy?

There should be no need to bleed the clutch during a clutch change, unless you have dismantled the hydraulic assembly to the point where fluid escaped.

Is it a push or pull clutch ?
