HI, You probably can’t help without looking at my car but I will ask anyway.

I have a seat leon cupra r on 53 plate. I was heading out today and thought i would put my foot down a little maybe hit 110 mph as I slowed down white smoke was coming from the exhaust and the oil light started flashing, I pulled over and got some oil for it when i filled up i left the garage only to find the smoke pouring out of the exhaust thicker than ever, the oil light came bk on however the oil level was fine but when i checked i noticed little air bubbles on the dipstick with the oil. I set bk off home and the engine management light has now come on and I have filled the street with a nice plume of smoke, Can you help?? smile

Could it not be the turbo on the way out?

only a failed turbo would consume oil that quick added to the smoke you are getting makes it favourite.
other than that a massive leak which would be readily apparent at that rate.

I wouldnt trust kwik fit to fit tyres, nevermind try and diagnose an engine problem !!!

You started saying it was white smoke.
What colour is it now?

I would be thinking...
White = head gasket
Blue = turbo

Did you drive it home with the oil light on?? (and at the same time discover that the performance was "normal" ?) What ever it is/was, it's shagged now..........
