Tune an 1.6 AEE Engine, What are my options?
Discussion
Hi Guys
1.6 Felicia on a V with 32k. which is the AEE engine?!
IMO it needs more power than the standard 75 bhp, what can be done?
I had a little read else where about fitting Mk 3 Polo GT Injectors etc but its all a little vague...
I don't want to spend a fortune, Its just for a bit of fun
Excited to hear what you suggest!

Get the head polished and ported and drop the suspension 35mm. Then weight reduction. Body roll can be an issue with these, the drop can help the handling, but a roll bar will really firm it up.
It Depends entirely on your budget, A proper performance exhaust system and a proper Induction kit will have a reasonable effect, Head polishing isn't going to get you much on it's own if your having the head off i'd cam it and port-polish it that'd be a good combo.Weight saving is a good option and it's free ! iv'e taken 80kg's out of My coupe and the difference is amazing !
It's not really cost effective (worth) to tune an N/a Engine under 2000cc
