Hi guys

Its time to get my car mapped properly its currently running semi sequentail injecton all the wiring is there to run full sequential, I just need to fit a cam position sensor, again the wiring is there but my origanal cam sensor idea didnt work so my mapper didnt bother with it.

Im thinking that full sequential is better as its more precise but then i think semi sequential is good for its cooling ability

Its a 4 cylinder boosted engine running 8 injector setup on a GEMS EM36

What do you guys think is best?

Thanks
Si

Your profile seems to suggest a Saxo.

Why on earth 8 injectors ?

I have a set of standard sized 226cc injectors in the normal place spraying on the back of the inlet valve then about half way up the inlet i have a set of 668s hopefully to get a nicer mix of fuel/air at higher revs/boost.

Shouldnt really have any issues with the 660's on their own, and surely they'd provide more than enough fuel for the engine ?

Given the small primaries, cant really see any need to go for sequential. But it certainly wouldnt do any harm.

I'd run fully sequential with staged injectors, because it makes the transient fuel control when you switch to the staged set much easier (becuase you can control the injection angle and hence the delivery time of the fuel (and the manifold puddle mass) to match that of the primary set.
