Need a bit of help, noticed my Clio has started leaking gearbox oil and im not too sure where I can check how much I have lost or where I can top it up. Is anybody able to point me in the right direction??
Cheers!

Not sure how you'd check the level on a Clio , although you'll know when it's full as it will leak back out of the filling plug hole in the side of the box (if you're thinking of filling it up).

it'd need to be jacked up or on ramps to do it though, it's worth it if you suspect it's low you've nothing to loose you can't over fill it ........

The gearbox filler is at the front uppermost of the box facing the rad and is easily filled whilst on the floor level(looks like the filler top of a hot water bottle, wing nut shaped)you fill with oil until it starts to issue from the same filler hole,my guess is you have a torn nearside inner CV gaiter(strange design) this allows oil to drain rapidly and is a common failure biggrin
