Peugeot Big Valve Cylinder Heads

Suppose you contacted a reputable tuner, who told you that he could build you a wonderful big valve head from a virtually new casting, and that the only work required to finish it would be some final fettling, the sourcing of a suitable camshaft and various ancilliaries, how much time would you allow him to finish the work?

dpends how long the lad said it would take, and also if you said...take your time im not in a rush, then they tend to take much longer even when you start asking for it back. is the cam to be shimmed etc? if not busy then a week or 2 maybe, but i know certain builders who take months. ive got 6 or 7 xe'let vauxhalls im building for people and some ive had for a few months, but obv the lads let me know when they would like it back and i try and work to that or let them know if going to be longer as i do it as a side line so have to work around my main job. but i always try to keep the lads informed of whats going on, ive had it before when waiting on parts and never getting told if there ready or not
