Hello,
Can anyone suggest what injectors should I be looking at for ~280bhp in a Rover V8? High imp preferred I think and to fit where the Lucas ones were.
thanks

If it's a hotwire setup, the Lucas are basically a direct swap for most typical Bosch injectors. So option are almost endless.
The older flapper setup used slightly different style injectors I think.
Something in and around 300cc would be more than adequate.

Yes the flapper injectors are connected with short rubber hoses on top.
Are those 300cc you suggested man enough where the RV8 is only running 35psi fuel pressure?
Steve
Thanks so far. New preferably and yes they would be going onto a hotwire fuel rail with the standard pressure regulator. I had kind of assumed that was 3 bar - is that not right?
ps. I have been looking through the five o motorsport shop on ebay, there's a huge selection so any pointers to specific ones would be great.
thanks

Cant think of any MPI system that runs as low as 35psi ? 3 bar is the typical fuel pressure used.Yes the flapper injectors are connected with short rubber hoses on top.

Such low pressures certainly wouldnt help any spray patterns
And for someone to make a statement of Bosch have a better spray pattern. Bosch make thousands of injectors, they would need to be a little more specific.
And generally, there are thousands of injectors available.
Something like this would be more than ample

Although I can see that the next problem is, that there are so many to choose from lol

I run 350cc Saab Red Injectors, with a BMW 3bar pressure reg on my Rover V8. All seems good and theres plenty of them on the bay. Standard was 2.5 bar FPR on my TVR.
Neal
That's good to know. I've just seen a few of those BMW regulators on ebay and was wondering if they would fit. I'll have a look at the Saab injectors too.Neal
Thanks
