Did a pre mot inspection on the accord yesterday and noticed that the exhaust flexi is knackered and blowing.

Now my local parts place wants £66 for the downpipe with flexi but euro car parts list the part for a rover 620 for £35, I assume these parts are the same? Does anybody know if they are?

And yes, my accord is the rover 600 shape hehe (1997)

Cheers

I would've thought they were the same, as long as your talking about the 2.0 N/A petrol engine. (diesel and 2.0T were totally different engines in the 620)

Be careful hereeke wink some have proper jap Honda manifolds and some of the Rovers use a Unipart/Unicrack copy laugh and yes they crack and are of differing dimensions cant remember the years so not sure if your affected frown just a heads up really and please bear in mind those pattern flexis often fail frequently on pattern exhausts for Honda get what you pay for and all that......

Well as it turns out it is the same part, fitted up fine.

It's welcome to fail any time after the MOT. hehe
