Is this something to be attempted at home? I'm competent with spanners and can get access to a decent workshop. I've rebuilt quite a few motorbike engines and the odd VW and Vauxhaul without any major issues.
Been quoted 500Euro which seems reasonable given the amount of ripping that will be involved but would rather not shell out the cash.
How hard can it be? Anyone done this at home? Any special tools required?
