I read in one of the media mags that Dennis publishing spent almost a million quid revamping the Evo/Autoexpress website.

Whilst I can see the benefit in sharing the underlying technology it seems a bit odd to combine the sites like that. The audiences are different aren't they?

Yes Ted ! AE seems to be aimed at home mechanics, hence the pages of "My 1980 Ford Cortina makes a rumbling souns when I turn left...." type letters. I think they should get a bit more short shrift with their replies, you know, along the lines of "..isn't it time you traded in this old puffer for a decent set of wheels ?"

BTW, Dennis Publishing. Does another subsidiary make fire engines ? Just wondered.

Me too - I think the new EVO forum is getting a a bit better now but it has deffo lost it's appeal...
