V8UK Full Power North / Midlands Convoy

In the same spirit as the south convoy, for the midlanders and people heading in from the north down the M5 / M6 / M1 I'll be making the following 10 minute checkpoints at the following services;

• 07:10 - 07:20 Hopwood Park Services (M42 J2)
• 07:45 - 07:55 Welcome Break Corley Services (Eastbound M6 J3-4)
• 08:20 - 08:30 Watford Gap Services (Southbound M1 J16-17)
• 08:50 - 12:00 V8UK Event

Hopefully, others travelling further afield from the North can "tack on" earlier checkpoints to meet up, you can use http://www.motorwayservices.info/map to find other services on your route

Can do - assuming we're convoying onto Welcome Break Leicester Forest services for 7.50 then I suggest we meet just off M1 J36 at 6.50am. It's just over an hours drive from there, but at the sort of pace you like to drive at we'll probably do in about 50 mins

Assuming you're travelling from Leeds, exit M1 at J36 south bound and take the last exit off the roundabout towards Sheffield (A61). Almost immediately as you turn off the roundabout there is a very small layby (bus stop size) on your left. I'll meet you there at 6.50am. I'll PM you my mobile number just in case.

Anyone else who wants to meet there also is welcome - the more the merrier.
