So apparently my car should have a clutch bleed valve (fitted by WP when they did the LS7 clutch) but I can't see it frown

If it's not somewhere obvious (by the clutch fluid reservoir), how do I go about finding it? I'm guessing I'm going to have to search around underneath, locate the housing and see if there's a pipe leading away from it...?

Neil Johnson fitted mine and it is right next to the fluid reservoir, anywhere else just doesnt make sense.

When you say should have it, it is on your invoice ?

Nope - the clutch was fitted by the previous owner and there's no mention of a remote bleed valve on the WP invoice... I guess it's possible that it wasn't fitted frown

I had my LS7 Clutch fitted by Toomeys and they fitted a remote bleed tube right next to the gearbox tied up with cable ties
Defeating the whole point of having a remote bleed pipe plonkers

Monkfish kindly refitted it correctly next to fluid resivoir

Remote line fitting is just recommended not required
The reason it's done is because the bleed nipple on the clutch slave is a butch to get to although it is easier on an r8 than on the ro
If you climb underneath you will see where the line goes into the bellhousing & the nipple is there be ready though it's a messy job

Looks a bloody good job compared to what LS V8 Power did to my old car!
