Have I got piston slap?

Hi all, I've noticed a bit of a knocking when I picked my car up back in June on cold start but now the early mornings are that bit colder the knocking sound is more noticeable. I've got my wortec on loud so I can't let the car idle for any period at all in the morning so I just stck the car in D and lot it roll out of the street. The knocking clears in about 30 seconds and then after that is completely gone. It rises and falls with revs, anything to worry about? It's an LS3 with 45k miles.

Pistonslap is quite common with the Ls3 and is nothing to worry about
Most will doit when cold started for a short period then clear

Ahh good. I'd looked on line and seen lots of comments about the ls2 but not much regarding the Ls3. Glad it's nothing to worry about. Cheers.

They all suffer to an extant. So long as it goes away after a minute or two, o wouldn't worry unduly.
