Sprint day, next autumn?
Discussion
I'm just looking for feedback at the moment, as it's something that hasn't been done on here in my time here.
If I can arrange it, how many would be interested in a sprint day, in the middle of the country, next autumn? I can't see us able to make it a VXR event, as we won't have enough room to invite the rest of the VXRs, but I can't see a problem if Vauxhall wanted to send their cameraman along, as long as they also sent their BBQ and chef.
For those who don't know the format, it will be one person at a time, on a short tight, twisty track, against the clock. People take it in turns, and you should get about 5-6 runs during the day. Ideal if you want to try driving on a track, but without the traffic.
To make it feasible, we'd be looking for a group of 15 people minimum, at around £50 each - the more people, the cheaper it is, but the less runs each person has. Static noise test will be 105dB, and no refunds if you fail (though you can re-sell your space to someone else).

I'd be interested in this, I'm sure it's fairly quiet when in 'quiet' mode
I can see it becoming expensive though when I end up phoning Roger for a brake upgrade after the first run
That's the beauty of sprinting. Everything is over in about a minute, so you don't overwhelm the cooling or mechanicals of the car.
