Car is now fixed, massive thanks to James and Roger for putting the smile back on my face that's been missing since the rr day, not going to go into detail as this will probably cause more arguments that and roger tried to explain it to me but I'm not technical enough to understand it all!
But will say car has woken up and the drive home last night was interesting....
Would highly recommend James&elite for his after sales care, thanks mate!

Good to hear that you are happy with the car again, now you just need to get back to SRR smile

Might not bother, happy with the car and if roger gave me a rough figure I'll take it!

That is fair enough mate! Though it does show that regular RR runs can highlight underlying issues that you are unaware of before they become catastrophic failures.

now its working you can sell it guilt free too. You keep flirting with me on email suggests a time to change into a classic bit of Bavarian cruising biggrin

Seriously though properly chuffed its working alright, its hard to beat a standard vxr8 let alone a special one (other than for build quality of course)

What planet are you on? Sell it to buy a fking beema? Could consider the vette but last time I looked I was still straight!

I understand the resistance, but once you give in you'll be asking why did you not do it when you were younger. But I suppose once you get to your age its hard to change the habbits, or in ARAF's case the hobbits of a life time!

Great news thumbup

We were chatting at the RR day and I could see how disappointed you were, glad it's sorted.
