VXR8 key fobs both stopped working

Hi folks,

Not sure why but both fobs have suddenly stopped working, tried changing the batteries (twice) and still no go. The keys will open the doors (car horn starts pipping) and then start the car fine (although the secondary alarm goes off), but ignores the buttons completely.

I haven't checked the fuses yet and will do tomorrow, however as the car immobiliser disengages fine with the key in the ignition barrel, I'm thinking this may just be a problem with the radio receiver. The fob unlocked the car fine this morning but then I did drive for nearly an hour in very crap weather and I know how these cars hate our amazing climate

I was hoping someone may have had this same problem and could shed some light on it?

Hi folks, here's a progress update;

Fobs now work again, turns out the RFA (Remote Function Activation) module had either lost its rolling sync or just froze in general, pulling the RFA fuse (see below) for 10 seconds and replacing it seems to have done the trick.
