Both half shafts on my Monaro have seen better days, especially the drivers side. I'm after uprated ones if possible.
It's not so much the actual shaft but the U/J that seems to have too much play.
So what do you all recommend? and are they difficult to replace.
I see MF have some for sale, but they rated to 1000HP.....which is a bit of over-kill for me!

MF fitted pedders shafts to mine after the uprated ones were shot after a year (massive play in the u/j's), never had a problem with them and i was running just over 600bhp, so worth giving MF a call smile

Check out the Drive Shaft Shop stateside, I've got their stuff and its good. They do some lower rated shafts but also have an anti hop set up which is good for a Monaro at any HP rating.

If your C Vs are shot I'm sure Roger at MF can swap them out for Porsche ones anyway??? If you have a lot of miles on the shafts maybe it would be good to have a look at the splines on the stub axles too?? Again DSS have some reasonably priced stubs too.

No time for cars atm. My new workshop is four weeks behind schedule now and needs buttoning up before winter hits. Also much remedial work on house prevents fun with cars.

CF prop is in my office on display to remind me.
