Service indicator reset VXR8

Hi Guys.

How do i reset my service indicator please.

50,000 flashing up, but had it done not long ago.

Monkfish1 did mine when I was there, last month. I think it was hold down the left wheel as you turn on the ignition to enter the menu.

Done that, how do i change the miles to 60,000 though!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, hold down trip. While holding it down, turn on the ignition, and it will ask if you want service reset? Release trip button, and click the left roller to reset (as you do with resetting your other trip features).

Done that, now says, Service Reset, No Items.

Does that mean, its set it self to 60,000 miles, or do i need to still set it myself. Do not know how it happened, but that is what it now says.

Could not scroll to 60,000 miles though!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to FAQ`s, i have done it then.

Just needed to know, if the computer has reset it self to 60,000 miles for next service, because i did not change anything, it just came up NO ITEMS!!!
