Stereo beig annoying

Stereo is going off and on every few seconds! Sometimes it will stay on for a few minutes. The screen will either go black and still play music or the stereo turns itself off. What could be the problem?

Likely suspect is just the contacts on the back of the infotainment panel.

Mine use to do that. Quick fix was just press the top of the screen and back on it comes
you have to be rave and grip the facia from the bottom of the ash tray and pill the front off then clean up all the contacts yo can see. Mine is fine now may or may not work

Ps did you fit the stripes or were they not what you wanted.

Yeah pushing the top works but as soon as i let go the screen goes back off. I took the stereo out, it came out really easy. Do i take all the little screws off at the back and give it a wipe with microfiber cloth?

I got the stripes, tried putting them on but made a mess I couldn't get them straight i wasnt sure on how to line them up properly and ended up putting ripples in the vinyl
