and in order to 'reduce congestion' and 'help us all out'

they have scrapped their original idea of toll booths which caused the traffic in the first place, put a system in place where its easy not to pay and get an automatic fine for ten times the toll charge AND sneakily increased the standard toll charges across the board.

This is like Microsoft expecting you to be grateful they have released anti virus AND STILL EXPECT YOU TO PAY FOR IT!!!

It was flowing nicely tonight at 5.45pm.

Good at 7:30 last night. I am happy to pay an extra 50p to cross if the traffic continues to flow in this way. Much cheaper than the petrol used in those queues.

Why pay more to cross?

Just set an account up and pay less, Ok, you have to put money in to get the discount, but still worth it

That's right, the tailbacks were costing the economy and all those foreign freight firms a fortune. there was no option really, it made us a laughing stock.

TBH they have the same systems in Oz and its not difficult to use when you get used to it.
