Just a moment please whilst I tie my threads together to make a complete story, I started with my thread regarding my power steering having a moan ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ) which progressed into me realising that the problem was a little more serious that initially thought mainly because the car wasn’t holding her PS fluid for very long and needed topped up every second day or so ( http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... )
As of last night the problem is quite bad and the car is only holding fluid for say.....a hour or so. Today the weather broke giving me an opportunity to investigate and here is what I have found. First and foremost I’m happy to say it’s not the rack, it is however or certainly seems to be the pipe that runs under the engine at the front. What’s been happening is it’s been dripping from this area catching in the cars under tray and from there is collected at the back of that under tray and dripped out the back with the help of gravity (which at the time made me think the rack was at fault).
The rack is dry except for the fluid that’s been spray around with the air whilst driving. I have attached some images to show you my journey of discovery. The pipe in question seems to be a complete 1 piece unit, does anyone know the part number of this part or where I could get one from? It’s urgent as this is a massive issue, I can’t keep topping her up with fluid.

Spoaked = Soaked haha. I think at this stage it's just a case of getting that part number and getting the part in so if anyone knows what it may be please let me know smile

Many thanks.

The thought had crossed my mind. Have you ever done it?

Nope, but mine is 'built'. Stick100 did it, Michael Clark (banned from this forum and probably a bit far South for you!).

If I was going to make one what sort of pipe would I need in term of ID/OD etc?
