This is one of the highest ranking returns. Comes in just ahead of the 007 carbon special.

Many a time the conversation starts ......
VX - "is it the 2.5 CDTI engine sir"

Me - " no its not a Movano I said Monaro"

The search results/ images shown to you are based on previous browsing/ viewing behaviours. For example, your crash pic isn't in the first couple of pages I checked Arnie (since I try and avoid looking at poorly Ros).

I literally had that very same conversation at Perry's Vauxhall in Canterbury recently.

I took my mum's Corsa in for a faulty coil pack to replaced under warranty. I told them it was running rough on 3 cylinders.

VX - did the car feel slower than usual?
Me - yes, it felt slower than normal, and not just slow compared to the Monaro
VX - oh, it should certainly be faster than a van
Me - facepalm

Later on I ended up talking to a sales chap, he was surprised to learn that Vauxhall sold a car that cost £50k and had an engine bigger than 3.0 litres...

Makes you wonder where they get their staff. I test drove a VXR8 from Hersden, and they've probably had a dozen Monaros and VXR8s for sale over the years.

Your mums car isn't the 1.0 litre model, is it? hehe

No, mum has the mighty 1.4. I am jealous of her heated steering wheel though biggrin

To be fair to the sales chap, he was new in the job. He actually thought I was going on about the Astra VXR to begin with and was saying it cost a lot less than £50k on finance hehe
