Where are all the Monaro's?

I've been watching the classifieds for a while now, hoping to catch a nice 6.0 Monaro, and there's just nothing coming up. I understand it's winter and all, but I'm getting restless!

I'll go back to looking at pictures of everyone elses...

It is typical for the number of cars for sale to be lower at this time of year.

What spec are you looking for? Colour, mods etc.

Red or Black, preferably. Not too fussed on the mods. I've spoken to Elite Cars and they have an '05 6.0 with 32k on it, at the moment. Upgraded exhaust, too. It was on a private plate, 'L30 SPA', I believe. Is that a known car?

Be quick, Yoiu can trust Elite, well known on here.
Also a meet at Elite this weekend 10th, would be worth popping down iirc 20 owners going.

Yep, I know it, and its bloody mint, if you're after a very well looked after model, and I mean VERY well, that's the one to get !!

It's not mine, but IMHO, you'd be very very hard pushed to find a better example.

It's pretty stock but does have a nice sounding exhaust on it

Oh, and to add, don't fk about, get it bought

Don't joke about it,I know of a Ferrari that was in a garage all tucked up.
Owner went to get it out for the spring,and it was just one big nest and chewed up beyoned belief.

What you need to do is to skip straight to the modifications stage. Prefereable starting with an engineless VXR shell. Think of it as a blank canvas. Then you can build the car you want and not have bits going spare.

Now, where to find something like that...

Shame your not after a Silver one with lots of tasteful mods as I've been thinking about selling it for a few months now even though I know I will regret it like I did with my last car.

I played with the idea of a CV8 earlier last year. I looked a couple but they were overpriced and in most cases, tired. That said, I'd set a budget that kind of reflected the cars I was looking at.

Elite is/would be my stop as well. I have one, in the garage, but it's not going anywhere and I'd like a daily hack with a v8 - what else is there at that money?
I can't excuse or explain the 1.6 Astra I have now either, but I did just buy a DeLorean so I have that.. I guess. :P

If you could get to Elite tomorrow, you'll see a lot of cars in various states of tune and modification, the list currently looks like at least 17-18 of us going, plus what ever is in stock.....

I'm not. bds are back in the walls of the house again even though I've blocked all the air bricks. I can hear them gnawing through things they shouldn't and I now have to call the pest controller again. My brother has a TVR and they ate his owner's handbook and driving gloves. Not happy.
