Hey,

Just signed up. Proud owner of black vxr8 for last 6 months but only just discovered this forum. Pretty much standard so far, Wortec exhaust permitting. No real long term plans but i'm sure this forum will talk me in to something ridiculous!
Just wanted to say Hi to all and a Happy New Year!

Lovely car.

As for the badges, if Vauxhall had the balls to market the cars, then they should have their badges. If HSV didn't like that, then they shouldn't sell cars to Vauxhall.

IMHO The cars look better with out the badges on the outside, Nothing to do with the name on the badge tongue out

It's no good if it's too fast for you to keep it on the tarmac. wink

Thanks guys. Agree the badges need to go, what do you find the easiest way? Hairdryer treatment or a bit of hot water?

A bit of warmth, then dental floss to cut through the foam. Finish taking the residue off the car with a bit of Autoglym Tar Remover, or SRP.
