It does nothing for me im afraid.

Its a Mustang, everyone can see its a Mustang, take the badges off and everyone will still know its a Mustang.

Not something that applies to a Holden.

+1. The main reason I bought the Monaro was nobody knew what it was. In fact it was the strange combination of a Vauxhall with a Corvette engine that made me want one. The Mustang is too mainstream for me.

I bought the Monaro because it was a tradition V8 engine muscle car. It was largely irrelevant who made it and what it looked like.

Arguably the first true muscle car sold in the UK with right hand rive, and came along just when I had got far enough in life to be able to afford a 30K new car.

The Mustang is of course very welcome in V8, and at last, RHD drive form. No problem at all if they end up every where. No confusing it with a Movano!

True, Monaro drivers will always acknowledge one another on the rare occasions you see another. Maybe not long term with the Mustang.

Hmmm good looking genuine V8 muscle car that's brand new or some rusty old smelly banger that leaks PAS fluid on my drive. Know what I'd rather have.

I've always quite liked the look of mustangs if i'm honest. This version does nothing for me though.

Its gone soft, almost European looking.

Plus I can't see this being a real petrolhead's car, not in the UK anyway.

You are right Neil, they do look good, I've seen both the convertible and hard top in the flesh, and the hard top looks much better and agree that it will be better to wait for the specials editions to be released.

However, if you think that the Astra VXR paintwork is bad, you should have seen the effort on the orange one they had at revival this year !!!! yikes seen less orange peel on an orange, it was so bad, even the wife commented at how bad it was.

The problem I can see with the Mustang, is as it's pretty cheap, it will sell stack loads over here and will be common as muck.

I like it, and in the flesh it looks good. All the Mustangs look a bit pap when they first arrive, like the C7 Corvette. As soon as they release the sporty version, suddenly it all makes sense and they look evil thumbup

This is the version we currently have:

And then we get stuff that looks like this:

I think it's great that they Weezoboost and the V8 are so similar in price. With fuel at £1.04 currently, who knows, maybe a few people will have a moment of madness and go for it! Personally I'd love to see them around and hope they're a great success for fud. I look forward to the first LS swap too hehe

But that's a great thing because:

1. We'll be faster (hopefully)
2. GM may bring us a proper car in RHD to wipe the floor with them?

They had me at 'aircraft style toggle switches'...

It certainly looks nice through the window, can't say I've sat in a new one yet
