There have been some queries recently about idler pulley on the VXR8.

I found this old posting today and thought it would be of interest to show it again. Maybe this could be added as a sticky.

That is a good bit of advise and i have just read up on it and cars built after november 2009 already have this mod fitted.

My car is a December 2009 built car and i have just checked and the modified part is already on win win.

...But a loss for anyone with a VE. Our was one of the last built for import (256 of 266) and was built in October 2008, so I don't reckon any of the Vauxhall cars will have had one fitted from new.

That is correct None of the E1's will have come with this mod.

There should really have been a recall for all the ones without the mod giving that they now come with them as standard.

Man maths.... Done spunking money on cars but want a cobra! Yr wifes soooooo well trained!

Cams going in mine next month then that's it as want to move home this year.

E3 has this fitted as standard. It was one of the first things I had on my to do list for my E3, but it's done at the factory.
