Diff question

Anyone know if a Monaro cv8 diff is the same as an ss ute?

CV 8 is a 3.46 same as the ute manual
If it's from an auto ute it'll be 3.07

Don't think so. AFAIK only the V6's had 3.07's. Its likely to be 3.46 in the SS together with the 4L60E box, but there is a plate on the diff housing somewhere under the dirt. And you could always jack up the wheels and measure revolution of wheels against rev of prop.

Auto V8 ss is 3.07

I stand corrected. VZ Maloo is 3.46 with the auto.
