Had few bits wrapped, spoiler supports, front grille, side stripe and had the wheels done gloss black. What do you think? Should I get the wing mirror covers done in black? Liking the indicator ones

Cheers lads. Just waiting for my new machine polisher to arrive so I can get it properly gleeming ready to put new badges on. Got some new black and blue supercharged badges and black checkered flag badge. I've already put the "ls2" badges under the front wings, not sure what I think of it yet, might grow on me

That looks great. It has some shine on it now even before you get a polisher.

Personally I don't think you should wrap the wing mirrors as it looks great as is.

Im not a fan of that kind of styling, but I have to say, that works, looks great, really does.
I don't like that on red cars, the Corsa in the background looks horrible.

Thanks, it does have shine but it has a lot of swirls, when the light hits the paint the reflection bounces everywhere so when I remove the swirls it will be gleeming!

I've always preferred black and red on previous cars so thought I'd try the black theme on the blue vxr8 and it works well. Doesn't look as mean as the red but the colour itself wins hands down IMO. It could do being a tiny bit lower but everyone says when they are driving behind me the Wortec pipes look very close to the floor... Like very close!

I have been wanting to wrap for a while but I get silly quotes , not lowering the tone , I assume it was done in your area and can I ask how much my last quote was 3k by one lot who said it was too complicated and they won't do it and 4 k by another

Erm I didn't get the full car wrapped mate. I just got the side strip, spoiler supports, front plastic bonnet strip done. And the wheels done in gloss black. The wrap alone cost £120 I think, can't remember now. 3k is a lot for a full wrap IMO. I've never had bad paintwork where I'd need a full respray but if I did I would just buy the vinyl wrap myself and give it a go, what's the worst that can happen. For 3k I'd definitely would rather have a respray!

That's too much. Admittedly it was nearly 6 years ago, bu the last full wrap we had done was £1200, and when we did the roof, sides and bonnet of our VXR8 it was £600 (4 years ago).
