Diff oil and modifier.

Going to be changing my diff oil next as I've been experiencing some clunking.

I've ordered some royal purple diff oil which contains modifier.

My question is when looking over some old invoices from MF when I had the half shafts replaced the diff oil was changed and not only did they use royal purple but also redline modifier.

Do I need to get some of this as well as the royal purple oil?

Put castrol syntrax in mine, stopped the cluncking but the lsd dosent lock up as good, going to change to royal purple

I did mine recently with Millers CRX which contains modifier. Initially it was ok but after 500 miles or so started clunking and locking up when manoeuvring once it got hot. Added a bit of the Redline modifier and it sorted it.

I think this is the route I'm going to take soon.
