I've just bought a big boot CV8 5.7 Monaro and wondered if anyone knows of any secondhand Wortec exhausts for sale? I'm tempted to place an order for a new one but thought it would be worth a quick ask?

I'm loving the v8 experience so far, but the sound just doesn't do it justice...

Thanks!

Once they're fitted, they rarely come off again, thus second hand ones are rare as hens teeth. Having said that, they do very occasionally come up for sale on a well known site of auctionable goodies.......
Mostly the cat-backs are all Wortec with a few doing their own thing, and therefore tend to stay on the cars, it's when you get to headers and cats that there are a lot of people running different systems.

Not sure if my one in the classifieds is a Wortec. Monkfish would know.

Here's a link to Arnies one so he doesn't get into trouble, however, its a dual exit, yours being 5.7 CV8 is a single I assume??

You could try Raving or Speed4U.

My suspicion was that a secondhand one would be hard to come by but I thought it may be worth asking.

Yes it is the single exit jobby due to the petrol tank taking up all the space under the boot.

How did I not ever notice that PistonHeads also had a classified PARTS section?! D'oh! Obvious really...
