Car was advertised recently on various sites. Was offered car but it's been painted down both sides so withdrew offer. Seller sold it to WBAC so then went to BCA auctions (same company) and bought by dealer online. Don't think dealer knows what model he has and about facelift change. There are no similar cars for him to compare to re pricing

Goodluck to them

Just looks like one of the last of the line big boot CV8's. Low miles granted but massively over priced. Even said from a fellow blue CV8 owner....

Excellent, this means mine has appreciated £6k in 6 months. Perhaps I can justify all the money I've spent repairing it now...

If this is what they go for now then mine is for sale. I'll even throw in the private plate at that price!

With that much surplus, do you want to do a cheap deal on the GT86 you have? I wouldn't want you to have to pay too much tax this year. wink

Prices seem to be all over the place at the moment. Last Monday, my girlfriends sisters husband bought a low miles, heron white VXR8 for £17,500!

Maybe if that's what people think they are worth, that's what they will start paying? All depends if the demand is there, at that price I doubt it.

Wouldn't have thought these cars turning up at auction was a regular event, but I guess a 'prestige' dealer not wanting to forecourt might send a p/x on to auction

Would think it would be stupid to send it to auction unless there is something really wrong with it. confused

I know what it made online at auction but not fair to dealer to make it public. It was entered in auction by WBAC and they had a nice large one as they do - retail profit !! And then dealer buys and sells it on. WBAC do steal some cars off the public

Brilliant could end actually not losing out on a car for once yikes but think it be a few more years before they start selling at them prices, which is a shame weeping

You have got to be an idiot to sell them a car unless you are hardup for cash

That used to be mine. Traded a Vectra for it. It is a Big Boot CV8, it hung around unregistered for some time, hence 06 Plate. 1st Owner was from North Wales, never met or made contact. I'd had it 5 Months and was pricing up the usual- Pipe, Suspension, Bushes- when the Clutch Slave Cylinder went. Took it to Pentagon Burton for repair but Traded it for a GTS instead.
It was Repaired and gone when I collected the GTS and not heard of it since.
