I have a 222/224 (XR275HR) with XR lobes so not quite the Extreme (XER) lobes Comp did at the time.
With a 112 lobe separation there is some lope and does require tuning to get the optimum. I tuned mine myself and only had to tweak the Throttle Follower & Throttle Cracker tables (once I'd tuned the VE & MAF tables) to eliminate any RPM dip or stumbling at low speed and part throttle.
I have a lighter car than most but still bottom end torque was hardly affected if at all.

Thanks for the feedback. I've got the tuning sorted out, and am finalising cam specs so wanted to get a second opinion on them. Probably going for the LXL lobes on mine.
Whilst I think I know the answer, and the budget doesn't really stretch to it at the moment, but would a FAST intake be of any real benefit at this stage?

But it's not just heads and flow values....you need to think about weight of valvetrain items as well. Then you should also think about a set of rod bolts for safety, and list goes on!!!! Just on the heads I'd be buying some decent aftermarket with good flow figures and a sensible port size.
