Apologies if a repost - and to the person quietly watching and hoping some bd doesn't highlight it on a car forum.

Feck me what a waste of a great car. Some people just dont know how lucky they are until they've lost it... (and probably not even then)

They probably worked correctly. They don't go off in an initial light frontal, they have to remain ready for the big one that may be coming moments later.

I assume someone will repair this, given it is cat D. The main problem is the possibly substantial front left suspension and turret damage. Some good parts there if not easily fixed too.

I rolled a work van a few years ago, First lost the ass on black ice and slide down into a culvert, this flicked me up into a telegraph pole backwards while the van was on its side (pole mark in tailgate below tail light). The telegraph pole acted as a catapult and flung me clean over a hedge and into a field where the van rolled twice....No airbags deployed laughlaugh

Yup I saw that. plus it looks like the car fell off the recovery transporter after the crash. the front wing is more dented and mirror smashed

From the damage, it seems that the impact was not severe enough to require the airbags to deploy. Airbags should only deploy if they are absolutely needed, from the pictures on copart, the bumper beam and lower rails hardly seem damaged at all, so they probably weren't needed.

I have had them rolled heavy & front & rear impacts hard & the air bags have not gone off still pre Vf cars

Maybe its the 22k + in parts that put the insurance off repairing it
