2008 vxr8 otr 6 litre. Ls2 fitted walkinshaw performance kit from new (air filter,ecu upgrade,cat back s/s exhaust)thinking of fitting OTR cool air kit.Been told may need re mapping again as engine warning light/ other warning lights may be activated.Are any kits better than others.I bow to all you collective greater knowledge any advice if you have fitted one would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou one and all!

If you're going OTR, then there may not be room for the MAF, which will mean you need a re-tune. Best to contact the usual suspects - Walkinshaw and Monkfish, to see what they offer. You can look to OTRs from abroad, but they're not much cheaper once they're here, and you could still need mapping.

Frankly, if the previous work was done by Walkinshaw, I would go back there.

I have the RotoFab intake if that's any help, the air intake is sealed by the bonnet and the cold air is drawn from low down near the bottom front grill.

I quite agree. We also have a CAI - the exact same one that half of the forum seems to have had at one time or another. hehe
