R8 Traction control
Discussion
Standard it is on, and it will allow a little bit of wheelspin and allow the rear to step out a little, before bringing you back to order.
When you turn it off, 'ESP Off' should appear on the centre dash display. If it defaults to off because of a fault, then again it should tell you on the dash.

Thanks guys, I'll check the switch plug any way, the RO TC was terible , made the car worse ( I think it was because it had a throttle cable making it quite aggressive ) I just wanted to see what difference it made.
It's a far better system on the VXR8. From what I'm led to believe, the Monaro TC used to just take the loud pedal away from you, like the C5 Corvette. The VXR8 does a good job (IMHO). Leaving it on, on a wet and slippery track, and you can still feel the car spinning and sliding, but the car gathers everything back up before you get to the limits of what can be caught. Turn it off in the wet, and you need wiper blades on the side windows.
Took the switch out and it was unplugged. Back together now and it works according to the dash warning but it's turning Off on its own. Properly why it was unplugged. Anyone had this, might try a switch from Raving as I need a headlight switch anyway, just waiting for him to come back to me.
