Importing - may be useful

If you are importing and want to register in the UK you may want to get a Certificate of Conformity direct from Holden. Just go on their web site find the contact us section and use the live chat facility. If you have all the vehicle details they will arrange to send you a certificate via e-mail for free.

Also the Holden UK Register Club will complete one for you free as well....but you'll have to join.

I always thought it was the older stuff, but am going to have a nose around.

I obtained one myself a few months back for when my ute sells the new owner wouldnt have any dramas importing it useful document to have

If you have a vehicle that is 10 years old you don't need to run it through the IVA test. The manufacture date is the key to this not the individual car build date. The model of my Ute was first manufactured in Feb 2005 and went through conformity checks at that time and Holden have provided the certificate on that basis. The actual car was ordered and built in Nov 2005.
