R8 light switch

My headlight switch turns to the left way past the 0 and the lights won't turn off. Got a used switch off Monkfish today but that won't turn to the 0, it almost makes it and when you let go it returns back to auto. Just wanted to know what is normal, can you set the lights to 0.

No it wont stay on 0 you just turn it to there and lights will turn off then returns back to auto
