That's at Heathcote. The track is crap, and the timing and speed trap results very dubious to say the least. I raced there once....and won the LS1 LSSR Nationals Class.

Trust me - it was crap in 2007 and it doesn't look any better from the video!!!! Also it wasn't ANDRA approved so safety was minimal......

The funniest thing was that a guy in his commodore parked behind the jet engine car and got blocked in. Jet engine fired up, and hey presto one roasted front end on a VX Commodore.

No not personally, but know the name. The only fun thing about racing there was beating Little Lord in his TT ute ;-)

Even more rapid, especially as this is on completely normal tyres, not a monaro etc, but clearly a very very well developed car for drag racing

How on earth does a 1580kg car running 275 section street tyres pull a 9.0 pass? Just can't understand how you'd get enough traction.

I'm surprised the car is so heavy with him having cut away a lot of the original car and lightened parts.

It's a tubular front end and basically feck all to it looking at pictures.

That said, if you look at any of his previous builds, they are all very very fast.

He clearly has it well dialled in to hook up on almost any level of traction, and no doubt that powerglide helps.

They seem to make everything go fast !

Tube chassis, slicks, no obvious intercooler (methanol?)

Can see why it's so fast in that video. Still amazed at the run in street tyres wink

I think he runs it as a dual fuel setup.

Pump etc for the street use, and methanol for racing.

Even from the street racing videos, he's clearly leagues ahead of most cars he is racing.

He knows how to get it done !
