I've got a lightweight Monaro. It's got note give or gearbox. Rare too: The only black 2004 VXR in my garage. I'd let it go for 500k Aus Dollars...

What about the red one in the hedge, isn't that rarer?

I wonder if that posh display tells you it needs servicing every 200 miles or has an "engine fault" like the normal one?

Or whether it tells you that the ITBs have been removed thus removing a big part of the car's originality and presumably value...

Love the concept of a Monaro GT3 though, and it's such a lovely looking thing yes

This badboy (in its original form) was what got me hooked on the big Aussie V8's when I was out in Oz in 2k3. I remember seeing it in Drive mag and lusting after it! I swear it had twin carbon fibre air boxes though.

You could make a lighter and much more powerful Monaro for less than £20,000 even over here.

It does look nice though, I'll give it that smile

I think the OBD2 interface is always slow for data - you need access to the manufacturer specific bits to get a better rate. Real shame.

Racepak stuff is pretty quick but mega money and also Brockway but they dont exist. Everything else I have seen has atleast 1/2 second delays frown
