Does the one you have fit inside the silver part?

If so, it's a piece of cake smile

Yeah, my E3 is an official HSV so has the steering wheel badge etc.

Got one for my old Monaro as well, was lucky to get that.

No you have to take the old one off complete including silver part i tried but it seems like it had been riveted in place.

In that case then, yes, it's a PITA.

How does the 45mm one meassure up to fit inside inside the silver part?

Just the centre black bit, not the silver surround.

Heated up badge with a hair dryer, good some thin twine behind, then just sawed back and forth.

The silver bit won't budge, it's a steering wheel/airbag off jobbie
