Any advice on what could be the cause of the fuel gauge not registering on a Monaro CV8 and how to access the sensors? Car was garaged over winter, all was working OK when it was put away. Had to recharge the battery when I brought it out. Started ignition, fuel gauge needle rose and then fell to zero. Been like that ever since despite filling up several times.
All help much appreciated.

I had this when I first bought it (maybe it had been sat on the forecourt for a while?) I reset the ECU and that fixed it despite the dealer saying they'd 'tried everything'!....
