Gts smells of fuel !!

Hi guys my yellow bannana is stinking of fuel in cabin and under hood and at rear wheel.started only slightly thro heaters when at traffic lights now when ignition turned on and not running its really strong

Have you had the engine running then have a good look under the car to see if there are any leaks.Or i know it sounds silly is your fuel cap done up tightly as i kjow when mine isnt tightened correctly the car absolutely stinks of petrol

Fuel cap not fully tight or an issue with the fuel cap seal is the first item to check.

Very common on the Vauxhall cars if the cap does not get tightened by at least 4 clicks.

Cap is secure and no smell from that area . Smell only starts when igniton hsa been turned on . No leaks visible no puddles or drips

Have you just filled it up ? Has the fuel pump module been out could be seal and fuel sitting in top of tank

No not bn fueled since last week 3/4 tank a nd now just under quarter.its off to walkie this week .looking like an overfueling injector
