Any one know of any good, reliable companies ?

Having the front end on the GTS done, bonnet, bumper, wings and rear spoiler.

Thought, whilst the bonnet scoops are off and so the paint can go off nice and hard before being re-fitted, I'd get them re covered. The gel coat on top is starting to turn milky and a chunk is missing from a stone hitting it pre purchase.

Any idea on cost also ?

Cheers Ian

Oh well, I've just e-mailed Carbon Delight to get a quote, should know soon enough.

They do a Ford Escort roof for £810 so I'm hoping the Bonnet Nostrils won't be that painful.

Anything more that, I'll prob just leave it as some might say im just being a little OCD biggrin

Do you mean, putting carbon fibre ontop of your bonnet, bumper, wings etc? So although being real carbon fibre ontop you have actually made the panels heavier and in a sense its still fake?

Or actually having the items copied and made from carbon fibre?

I did a few bits with LWS Design in Hayling Island a while ago, their product is good, iirc a bonnet was around £1000,

The only items I want re-done are the Bonet Nostrils, the rest are just being painted.

The nostrils are fibre glass with CF laid over the top, they were on the car when I bought it. So not true 100% CF in the sense, but they're not hyro-dipped either.

Cheers David for the recommendation, I'll keep Ben @ Carbon Weezle in mind smile

Against the cost of getting your spoiler done, would my estimate of £200-250 be in the ball park for getting the nostrils re-done do you think?

Not worth buying a skinning kit and having a go yourself? They are only small pieces after all. So costs for materials wouldn't be that high.

I would like them looking better, not worse !!! hehe

I may even have a go at polishing the gel coat first, see what happens.

Well from what I've read up on, it's possible ?

I'm going to try some Gel Coat Glaze.

I wouldn't bother with a skinning kit, I tried but found it very tricky & eventually ruined my lip by trying to warm it up to speed the curing process
Best left to a pro if you want a crystal clear finish
My Gueney flap as it's known was about £180 to skin
