Decoding HSV VIN

Does anybody know which number indicates the build year in the 17 number/letter sequence? Am assuming it's position 10. Thanks in advance.

It's supposed to be 10, but that's model year, not year of manufacture. All HSVs have an additional build plate, saying when they were built.
