Just wondering if anyone knows a place in the UK that supply pacemaker or proflow headers?

I've sent an email to raceparts uk who according to the proflow website are a UK dealer

If you want Proflow, go direct to VPW in Oz. Landed with duty shipping and tax should work out just under £700 landed.

Should be cheaper now as the Ozzie dollar is 2.10 to the pound.

On the subject of these headers, when you search for them what should I look for to ensure they fit my Monaro VXR? I get a touch confused with the VE/VZ etc etc and the wikipedia page left me even more confused lol. I always thought a Monaro VXR LS2 was the VZ?

Would these be a straight swap for the standard ones ? Or is it still a case of chopping an welding to make them fit?

The proflow heaers fit the engine out of the box but the cat pipes would need cutting and the supplied flanges/reducers welding in place along with decat or aftermarket cats fitting

Don't think so. That had a Reeves Callaway hand built engine.

Yup, just re-read the text about them all. V2 GTO indeed.

I found these on the bay from Australia. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Commodore-VE-V8-6ltr-Gen...

I was wondering if they would they fit an LS2 Monaro VXR obviously with the modifications and fitment information listed in this thread.

I thought your car was an LS1? If so, I would stick with that. No point in making life too complicated, and the LS1 headers will be just as efficient as the LS2 ones. smile

The LS1/LS2 headers on the Monaro are the same afaik (the LT ones anyway).

What I found what that if you order the cats that go with them (which you'll want/need for the MOT) then they will meet up with the cat back exhaust. This is what I found with mine. The difference between the LS1 and LS2 is that the cat back part is different (obviously it splits at the back) but also the angle/length of the cats required is different too.
