2 problems...need some help

right guys couple of issues.. unrelated but hoping for help .2004 cv8 ls1
ive got some saas aftermarket gauges fitted the oil pressure seems erratic of late.
cant find any loose connections. today on my way home gauge read zero.
stopped engine ,on the flat,checked oil level and looked for leaks, all good.
started it up, gauge went back up and was fien all way home. im thinking sender breaking down when hot. ideas ??
2nd issue.. shes a b
h to start from cold. fine when driven but left over night takes either a very long crank to fire, or 2-4 goes to catch properly. any ideas.??
car has new plugs and leads less than 2k ago .
cleaned air filter out, and re oiled, this hasn't made a difference neither.
