Bizarrely, the volume button that increases volume has fell off from my Monaro's steering wheel. Has anybody had this happen to them? It looks like it's snapped away from the body. Does anybody have an idea on a fix? I don't fancy having to try and procure a new steering wheel, as I bet they're expensive and rare.

Hope i'm not trying to tell you how to suck eggs, but the vast majority of parts used in these cars are straight out of the GM/Holden/Vauxhall parts bin. Have seen the same steering wheel and buttons used on Astras.

Thank you all for your advice and tips. I'll have a read through the link provided and see if I can repair this myself.

@ Aitch 'H' - I may take you up on that offer if I'm unsuccessful.

@ No Bend - I never thought about that, thanks for the advice. I'll have a look down that route as well.

Thank you.

Buttons are not too difficult to change but you do need to remove the steering wheel to change them both. New buttons is the only way for a solution that definitely works.

Once again thank you all for your advice. @Raving, the loads you have, would some be for sale, perhaps? I'd like to do a proper fix on the car.

Pre and post facelift cars have different connectors, make sure you ask for the right set! Learnt this the hard way!
